FABRICS: NATURAL, RECYCLED AND INNOVATIVE
We carefully select natural, recycled and innovative fabrics and materials, all certified to be cruelty-free and free of animal fibres, also we select stock from companies that would otherwise be thrown away.
Some of the selected fabrics:
Hemp
The growth of hemp is rapid and does not require special attention. Among the natural fibers most resistant to textile processing, hemp makes it possible to create a fabric that is more resistant to mechanical action, wear, tear and deformation than any other natural fabric. Hemp fabrics combine sturdiness with softness, thus making it possible to obtain particularly comfortable and comfortable garments.
The fabrics obtained from the hemp plant are also endowed with other very interesting properties: they reflect ultraviolet rays, shield from electrostatic fields, do not conduct electricity, do not irritate the skin because they are hypoallergenic and keep bacteria away from the surface of our body. because they are antiseptics.
Nettle
Thanks to its high resistance to pathogens and stinging properties, its cultivation does not require the use of herbicides and anti-parasites. It is elastic, resists twisting, and unlike other fibers its strength increases over time. Excellent thin and flexible yarns are obtained from the nettle, which are also strong and tenacious. The nettle fiber is soft, resistant and breathable like linen, shiny like silk. It is a natural fiber, 100% biodegradable, which also has antistatic properties.
Tencel
TENCEL is a fiber obtained from the cellulose of wood, thanks to an environmentally friendly chemical process. TENCEL fibers are divided into two types: TENCEL Lyocell fiber, obtained from eucalyptus wood, and TENCEL Modal fiber, obtained from beech wood. It is a soft and resistant fabric, similar to viscose to the touch, breathable, light and comfortable. The surface of TENCEL fabrics is smooth and elastic, soft and pleasant on the skin and is ideal for all those who have sensitive skin. In addition, TENCEL ™ absorbs more moisture than cotton, the fibrillar structure helps to create an optimal microclimate on the skin.
Crabyon
Crabyon is a recent fiber created by the Japanese company Omikenshi. The production process involves crushing the shells of crustaceans from the food industry and mixing them with cellulose, without the use of solvents. We are talking about a textile fiber which, in addition to being antibacterial and antimicrobial, is hemostatic, completely biodegradable, hypoallergenic, ecological and biocompatible.
Koba
The Koba is the first truly ecological fur in Koba (soy) or produced with 37% of fibers of vegetable origin that is bio-based and regenerated polyester.

VEGETABLE LEATHER AND INNOVATION

Annalisa Queen bags are born from the desire to create a product that combines unique design with the protection of our planet. The use of innovative vegetable hides allowed this dream to become a reality, making a leather goods that was not only beautiful to look at but also was a carrier of respect for the environment and love for animals and therefore happiness.

The vegetable hides we choose are the most innovative in the world and come from companies that have received certifications from recognized bodies that guarantee their quality and sustainability.
From cactus
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing humanity today, and prolonged drought and desertification will affect many countries in the future. Nopal, native to Mexico, can grow on land where other crops will not thrive, so it can be used as a remediation solution for degraded lands. C3 plants typically require about 1,000 litres of water to produce 1 kilogram of dry matter or material. In contrast, the cactus (CAM) achieves the same result with only 200 liters.
Thus is born Desserto®, vegan and cruelty-free alternative while remaining highly performing and incredibly soft to the touch.
From the waste of pineapple leaves
Piñatex®, made from the waste of pineapple leaves, is an innovative cruelty-free fabric that has been developed to be used as a sustainable alternative to both mass production of leather and polluting synthetic materials, Offering a better choice for a better future. The company also supports rural farming communities in the Philippines by working directly with agricultural cooperatives to create an additional stream of income for pineapple farmers.
From the apple waste
Currently, an estimated 30,000 tonnes of apple waste are estimated to be produced, which, if not reused, will result in high waste management costs for the companies. Thus UPPEAL™ is born a vegan, cruelty-free alternative to animal skin obtained from apple waste grown for juices and jams in northern Italy. Every kg of apple residue used to replace the UP means 5.28Kg of CO2 saved.
From bamboo
This innovative material, another alternative to animal skin, is created through a virtuous process that uses the scraps of the cultivation of giant bamboo in Italy.
Thanks to another virtuous Italian company, the use of new resources is significantly minimized, saving water and energy.

Annalisa Queen's mono earrings are a must-have! They were designed by Annalisa to be very comfortable to wear because they have no clip closure but only a pin and butterfly closure, they rest delicately behind the ear and are adjustable according to the size of each person's ear with a slight pressure of the hands.
ETHIC
Every garment and every accessory is designed and conceived by Annalisa who takes care of the product in every detail.
We are very concerned that all our creations are produced ethically, without exploitation of labor and in safe conditions, therefore not as dangerous for human health as those which may occur in contact with hazardous chemicals.
Garments and accessories are in fact made and finished by the skilled hands of expert tailors and craftsmen, all entirely in Italy, for an excellence that embraces our land and our commitment to a better future.

The release of our collections follows the rhythms of slow fashion, we believe that having to release more than two collections a year kills creativity as well as being a system no longer sustainable.

Annalisa Queen sincerely thanks Rita, Livia, Antonella, Cinzia and all the fantastic craftsmen who bring her ideas to life.
CIRCULARITY
Annalisa Queen is a brand that also believes in recycling in order to minimize waste the fabrics from previous collections are reused for the creation of unique pieces of clothing, tailored garments and accessories. We also choose stock from companies that would otherwise be thrown away.
